A DRIVER has appealed for help after another car smashed into his vehicle and sped away without stopping.
Dean Gibson was driving along Hayes Road, in Clacton, on December 9 at 3.40pm when he slowed down to turn into Alexandra Road. A black Ford Fiesta crashed into the back of his car and drove off.
Mr Gibson said: βIt came out of nowhere and smashed into the back of me, mounted the kerb to get round me and kept going. I drove after the car, but lost it in Skelmersdale Road.
"My back bumper was crushed and the rear wing was pushed in.β
Mr Gibson said the car was a new-shape Ford Fiesta and urged anyone with information to call police on 101.
