A PERSON has died after being hit by a train between Colchester and Manningtree.
Emergency services are currently at the scene.
All services have been suspended while investigations are carried out.
People travelling from London to Colchester, Clacton, Ipswich and Norwich are advised to delay their journeys.
Greater Anglia does not know when the service will reopen.
A replacement bus service is running between the two stations.
Customers travelling to and from Norwich and Ipswich are advised to travel via Cambridge connect with Great Northern services to or from Kings Cross.
Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on London Underground services between Liverpool Street and King's Cross, Great Northern services between King's Cross and Ely, and East Midlands train services between Ely and Norwich.
