AN appeal has been launched for volunteers to sell remembrance poppies in Walton.
The town’s Poppy Appeal will be run from a shop in Walton High Street in the run-up to Armistice Day next month.
Volunteers are needed to man the shop and distribute poppies and wreaths.
The Poppy Appeal is run by the Royal British Legion for current and former soldiers.
Anyone who can help should visit the shop at 40 High Street or call Walton Community Forum on 01255 677006.
