A POTTY-MOUTHED teenager and a gangsta rap-loving pensioner join ventriloquist Paul Zerdin for his latest stage show.
The ultimate modern-day ventriloquist, Zerdin is aiming to push the boundaries of puppetry with shocks, surprises, sidesplitting skits and naughty humour.
While his show is unsuitable for youngsters, he first got intro ventriloquism by watching some kids’ classics.
Now an internet sensation and veteran of theatres and festivals, he has crafted a new show which comes to the Princes Theatre on Friday at 7.30pm.
Zerdin said: “Ventriloquism is a very old tradition but it’s not traditional stand-up, it’s kind of like a sitcom.
“A situation is developing and out of that will come a joke between myself and the character.”
Tickets for the show are £16.50 on 01255 686633 or at essexlive.co.uk
Audience members must be over the age of 15.
