A TRIBUTE to the group who reinvented disco music is strutting into the Princes Theatre this weekend.

Nights on Broadway takes on sibling superstars the Bee Gees with a fantastic live concert tracking the Gibb brothers’ incredible releases through four decades.

The show includes everything from the golden era of the 60s, dancefloor smashes of the 70s, the comeback hits of the 80s and 90s, along with a string of tracks penned for other artists.

The audience gets the full experience of being at a Bee Gees concert with a unique blend of hits, acoustic medley and dancefloor-fillers.

Special guests include tributes to Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion and Diana Ross, who all had tracks written for them by the Gibb brothers.

The Bee Gees formed their close singing harmony as children before ascending to global superstardom by the time they were 25.

Now they are widely acknowledged as some of the greatest songwriters in history, with estimated record sales topping out at more than 220 million.

The show is backed up a seven-piece band from Ireland.

Tickets for Saturday night’s show at the Princes Theatre are £17.50 (£16 concessions) on 01255 686633 or at essex-live.co.uk
