A GALAXY of stars, tribute performers and local talent have been signed up for the West Cliff Theatre’s upcoming autumn season.

Ivor Novello Award winning singer Joan Armatrading tops the bill and will be performing tracks spanning her entire 42-year career.

Reality TV, West End and Casualty star Lee Mead is also set to appear, singing songs from musical theatre.

Clacton favourites Jim Davidson and Paul Daniels will also go on stage for evenings of stand-up comedy and spellbinding magic.

Theatre manager Paul George said: “I am very excited about the acts we have secured.

“It is a great mix of different artists and, hopefully, there is something for all tastes and ages.

“Also included are a variety of tribute acts, which always go down well with the audience in Clacton, and lots of local talent to help support the community.”
