A COMEDY icon is returning to Clacton for his 60th anniversary show.

The legendary Kenn Dodd is performing at the Princes Theatre this Sunday as part of his almost non-stop tour of the UK.

Ken made his debut at the Empire Theatre, in Nottingham, in 1954. Since then, he has clocked up countless miles travelling to gigs.

Renowned for the length of his shows, Ken is known to rattle off jokes at a rate of knots, including a variety of razor-sharp one-liners.

He has also had chart success with songs like Tears and Love Is Like A Violin.

The Princes Theatre was packed when Ken last came in 2012.

This visit promises to be yet another fun-filled variety treat, jam-packed with endless gags and songs, ranging from ballads to operas.

Tickets are £22 (£21 concessions) on 01255 686633 or visit essex-live.co.uk
