Pensioner charged after fatal crash in Jaywick
A MAN is set to appear in court after being charged with causing death by careless driving.
Pedestrian Terrance Watson, 55, was involved in a collision with a Ford Focus in Jaywick on July 8 last year.
He was airlifted to Royal London Hospital but died a few days later on July 16.
It happened in Broadway, just after 8am in the morning.
Now Alan Baker, 72, of Brooklands, Jaywick, has been charged with causing death by careless driving.
He is set to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on October 14.
