PUPILS who took on the challenge to become community wardens and improve their area have been rewarded for their hard work.
Year six youngsters from Frobisher Primary School recently became junior wardens in Jaywick.
They worked with Tendring Council and a host of other organisations in the area to identify problems and try to inspire change.
One of their projects included organising a beach clean-up.
