AN elderly mother and her disabled daughter have been imprisoned upstairs in their own home for SIX MONTHS while they wait for a council to fix their stairlift.
Mollie Filby, 93, and daughter Linda, 64, have been trapped on the first floor of their Clacton home since February.
Linda’s sister Gill said: “It is a horrible situation. They are going to be stuck up there through the whole summer at his rate.”
