EXTRA train services are set to take off for the Clacton Air Show.
Abellio Greater Anglia said it will be providing additional train services for the popular event, which is expected to attract 140,000 people.
Extra trains will run on both days of the show on August 21 and 22.
The additional services will run between Colchester and Clacton and will also serve intermediate stations including Hythe, Wivenhoe, Alresford, Great Bentley, Weeley and Thorpe-le-Soken.
A special train service will also operate between Walton and Clacton and there will also be an extra service from London’s Liverpool Street Station to Clacton.
Tanya Jacques, Abellio Greater Anglia’s customer services manager, said: “People should leave the car at home and take the train to Clacton to enjoy the impressive aerobatic displays.
“The Clacton Airshow is an award winning event and a great family day out - we hope everyone enjoys the fabulous airshow.”
