YOUNGSTERS celebrated their graduation in style with a special ceremony at a Walton school.
Hamford Primary Academy held its first early years graduation event for its youngest pupils.
Family members turned out in force to watch the children collect certificates marking their achievements in homemade mortar board hats.
Early years leader Carole Morgan said: “It was a brilliant occasion.
Every child there had a family member cheering them on.
“The parents have been so supportive this year.
“It’s the first time we have done a graduation ceremony and it will become a regular event for us now. Everyone had a great time.”
She added: “We have really had a remarkable year and we wanted to crown that off in a fitting way.
“Everyone has blossomed and grown and a graduation was the perfect way of celebrating their hard work and progression, as well as the hard work of staff.”
