BEER buffs are gearing up for this year’s Clacton Real Ale Festival with more than 65 beers and ciders on offer.
The four-day event takes place at St James’ Hall, in Tower Road, from August 20.
Campaign for Real Ale chairman Jeff Luesley said: “While we have not yet finalised details of exactly which beers we will have, there will be a wide range of familiar and unusual ales.
"There will be more than 65, including a selection of interesting ales from the growing number of breweries in London, plus a good range of traditional ciders, perries, Belgium and other European beers and some excellent local wines."
The event is in its 19th year and also features live entertainment.
Opening times are from 6pm to 11pm on the Wednesday, and from 11am to 11pm Thursday through to Saturday.
