Sixties icons return for Clacton show

A PAIR of Sixties icons who have been stomping the boards for more than 50 years return to Clacton.

Actor and rock star John Leyton, of Frinton, will perform all his hits, including Johnny Remember Me, Wild Wind and Son This Is She, backed up by rock ’n’ roll group The Flames.

Joining him is Mike Berry, who was known as the British Buddy Holly and has starred in classic comedies Are You Being Served? and Worzel Gummidge.

Backing band The Outlaws have been by his side for the duration of his career.

The Hit Parade Heroes is at the West Cliff Theatre on Saturday from 7.30pm.
