AN author’s books have gone on sale in her home town – and a stone’s throw from where her writing mascot was found.
Copies of AJ York’s books, Delilah Dusticle and Delilah Dusticle’s Transylvanian Adventure, are now available from Caxton’s Books, in Connaught Avenue, Frinton.
Both books were originally released as eBooks, but due to demand, paperback versions have now been published.
The stories are based on the character Delilah Dusticle who has an extraordinary power over dust.
Through her adventures, she begins to learn how her special powers are linked to her feelings.
AJ York (above) grew up in Frinton and went to Tendring High School. Her writing mascot is Grumpy Stone (inset), who was found on Frinton beach and is always close by when she is writing the fantasy series.
The book covers and illustrations were created by Gavin Childs, who used to teach media at Clacton Coastal Academy.
