A WOMAN’S garden wall was flattened in what looks to be a freak accident.

Daphne Eagle’s wall was still standing when she got up early to let the chickens out.

But two hours later when she went out again it had been destroyed.

“We sell eggs because I’ve got a few chickens,” said Mrs Eagle, of Deveraux Farm, Kirby-le-Soken.

“I think someone has come in to buy some eggs.We reckon they might have had an automatic car and not been used to it.

“It’s madeaheckof a mess.

“All we know is it was a blue car or van, which has had some damage.

“I don’t think it was malicious because they could have caused damage a lot more easily.”

Police are treating the crash as an accident.
