HEROIC members of a beach patrol team restarted a man’s heart an astonishing THREE TIMES as they battled to save his life.
The victim suffered a heart attack in public toilets on Clacton seafront on Saturday.
Tendring Council's beach patrol team raced into action.
The man had stopped breathing and Scott Lawrence, Bethany Higgins, Mason Garey and Ryan Clay worked on him frantically for around 30 minutes using CPR and a defibrillator.
The young team restarted the victim’s heart three times before paramedics arrived.
The victim, who is in his 30s and from Clacton, was rushed to Colchester General Hospital by ambulance.
