NURSERY children raised hundreds of pounds by testing their little legs to the limit for charity.
The youngsters from Walton’s Letterbox Nursery took part in the one-mile toddle waddle to boost children’s charity Barnardo’s.
More than 50 children, all aged from nine months to four years old, took part in the fundraiser.
They walked from the nursery along Walton seafront to earn sponsorship cash for the cause.
Each child was given a sponsorship form to take home and raised a staggering £670 between them and everyone was given a medal at the end of the trek.
Nursery manager Laura Hazelton said: “I feel it’s really important for the children to take part in charity events and it’s particularly important for us to make it as interactive and interesting as possible to inspire the children we care for.”
