A SPECIAL service of choral evensong will celebrate the centenary of St James’ Church in Clacton.
Clacton Choral Society are singing traditional cathedral music at the church on Tower Road on Sunday, July 6, from 6pm.
More than 50 members of the choir, which has been going for more than a century, will be perform, led Peter Kenvyn Jones.
The service will include psalms, hymns and choir anthems including a song composed especially for the event called The Grace.
There will also be an evening service.
