CREATIVE pre-school youngsters took part in a special session with a local artist.
Walton Pre-School was visited by artist and author Graham Ross, who has created a series of spectacular paintings – including some of the area’s landmarks.
He held a workshop with the budding young artists, showing them his work and giving them hints and tips on how to boost their skills.
The children then set up outside Walton Community Centre, which houses the pre-school, to create their own masterpieces.
Jackie Pobjoy from the pre-school said: “With Graham’s support they were able to capture their own unique image of the building.
“We regularly invite people from the community in to talk to the children. These visits are important in supporting their knowledge and understanding of the world and the local area around them.”
