A HOST of new shows have been added to a long-running theatre group’s repertoire for the first time.
Frinton Summer Theatre is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and has launched some new schemes to widen its appeal.
A dance show called All Our Holidays will take place at the Columbine Centre in Walton.
Created by dancers from Newbury Contemporary Dance company, it will transport audiences from 1914 to present day with a dazzling array of dance styles and backdrops.
Locals can also take part in the show – schools, clubs and local groups can get involved by contacting summer theatre dance development officer Sam Moss.
Anyone interest can book a taster session by emailing frinton75@btconnect.com.
The dance show will take place from August 27-29.
Summer theatre organisers have also organised a performance of musical Godspell at the Frinton Mission tent on August 8, during Frinton Mission week.
A musical showcase will also be held at the Lock and Barrel pub in Connaught Avenue on August 3.
