Bus company offers free travel for troops today
BUS operator First is offering free travel throughout Essex for serving Armed Forces personnel today to marks Armed Forces Day.
The offer applies to anyone wearing uniforms of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army, Royal Airforce or any associated cadet force throughout Saturday.
Retired personnel and veterans are also included.
Personnel need to show a valid Military ID card, veteran badge or Defence Discount card to board any of First’s services free of charge.
