Walton beach
WALTON’S beach patrol was kept busy with a double call-out on Saturday.
The crew was called out to a nuisance jet skier causing a disruption in the water near East Terrace, at about 12.20pm.
They passed on safety advice and informed the jet skier about local bylaws.
At 2.30pm the crew was called out again after a capsized kayak was reported just off the Walton coast.
They located the kayak and pulled two people to safety before returning them to the shore.
