AN annual horticultural show has been hailed a success after attracting a spectacular array of flowers and vegetables.
Frinton and District Horticultural Society held its summer show on Saturday.
There were more than 200 exhibits on display, entered into 55 categories.
Society chairman John Dearing said: “It was a good show and we had a lot of lovely entries on show.
“There was a really wide range, from floral exhibits to sweet peas and all sorts of vegetables.
“Quite a number of visitors came along to have a look and that is very encouraging. We are always looking to attract more members.”
Alice Kerridge won the top prize for clinching the most points in the show, while Dawn Renn, John Dearing, Barbara Horrocks and Bill Edwards also picked up prizes.
