YOUNGSTERS in Tendring are being invited to brush up on their French in the district's twin town of Valence this summer.
Valence is hosting the conversation course from August 19 to 27 and inviting people aged 18 to 25 from Tendring to take part.
The course is free and includes meals and accommodation with a host family.
Participants have to pay their own travel fares to Valence and should have studied French for at least two years.
Tendring Twinning Association chairman Paul Sharpe said: “This course gives an opportunity to improve French in a beautiful part of the country and meet young people from Valence's other twin towns.”
Valence has been linked with the area since 1969 when it was twinned with Clacton Urban District Council.
The closing date for applications is June 27. For details call 01255 674667.
