PLANS to turn a former bookshop in Holland-on-Sea into a “micro bar” have been rejected.
Mr Selman, from Sandown Close, Great Clacton, wanted to turn the former Bookworm shop, in Kings Avenue into a bar, but the application has been turned down by Tendring Council planning officers.
The blueprints were refused because it is feared a bar would disturb people living in flats above and behind the site.
