BURGLARS stole cash and bank cards after clambering into a Clacton house through an unlocked window.
Crooks broke into the home in North Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They stole a handbag, purse, pocket diary and a black BC5i mini mobile phone in the raid.
It happened between 1am and 6.15am on Sunday.
The handbag and purse were later found nearby in Highview Avenue but the bank cards and cash had been removed.
Investigating officer PC Emily Chapman said: āIām keen to speak to anyone who might have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area between those times.ā
Anyone with information should contact PC Chapman at Clacton police station on 101.
