ORGANISERS of a major classic car showcase in Walton have appealed for more owners of vintage vehicles to get involved in this year's event.
The Walton Classic Vehicle Show is one of the town's top annual events.
Last year's show featured more than 200 expertly maintained vehicles, with thousands of visitors flocking to the area to admire the display.
Entrants are still signing up with a month left until the event and organisers are hoping for record-setting numbers.
Organiser John Halls from Walton Community Project said: "It's a massive event for the area and a lot of work goes into it.
"It just gets bigger and bigger every year and we want to keep that going.
"We've very proud of the success it has become and love seeing more cars signing up and rolling into town each year."
Registration for vehicle owners is free and now done entirely online. People can sign up at http://www.wonclassiccarshow.co.uk.
This year's show will take place on July 6 and is sponsored by A1 Walton Salvage. It will include a host of other attractions, including stalls, refreshments and rides.
