ONE of Clacton’s oldest hotels has become the latest piece of the town’s history to make way for its future.
When it opened in the 19th century, the Waverley Hall Hotel was the height of luxury.
It was one of the earliest hotels to open in Clacton and was a key part of the town's heyday.
Since then the once-grand hotel has been subject to a mixed history, leading to its recent demolition.
