CHILDREN had a day of fun with bouncy castles and slides to raise cash for school trips.

Cann Hall Primary in Clacton held the day of inflatable fun at the school on Friday.

Paying £5 for a wristband the youngsters were able to spend all afternoon hopping and jumping on the Friends of Cann Hall owned equipment.

Colin Edwards, school office manager, said: "Everyone had a great time, it was a perfect afternoon.
"Families were having picnics on the field and we had about 400 or 500 people with a couple of hundred children."

The event raised more than £1,500, which will go to the Friends of Cann Hall funds with aims to use the cash to subsides school trips to places like London and Colchester.

More inflatable fun days are set to be held on July 23 and August 13 from 11am to 4pm.
