METALHEADS are invited to rock out at a monthly gig put on by a local group.
Metal Mayhem source bands from Clacton and further afield to put on spectacular shows for like-minded fans.
Their next gig is in Mortimers Bar at the Geisha Hotel, Marine Parade East on Saturday at 7.30pm today and organised Ian Manning is looking forward to it.
“We started this when I used to run the Plough Inn in Great Clacton and there is a real market for it in the area,” he said.
“Funds are being raised to make it look even more spectacular, even though most metalheads probably won’t care.
“Bands are always being sent to us and we are in the process of trying to build it up.”
On the bill are Upon Thrones, Seasons Collide, Honour Down and Driven. Entry is £3.50.
