COMEDY legend Ken Dodd is making a beeline to Clacton on his 60th anniversary show.
National treasure Ken Dodd will be performing at the Princes Theatre at the end of the summer as part of his nigh on non-stop tour of the UK.
Ken made his stage debt at the Empire Theatre in Nottingham all the way back in 1954 and has clocked up countless thousands of miles on the road every year since then.
Having packed out the theatre last time he was in town in 2012 he decided he needed to return and tickets for the show on September 14 go on sale at 9am today.
The show promises to be a fun-filled variety treat for the whole family with non-stop gags and an eclectic range of songs from ballads to operas, all performed in a style which is quintessentially Ken.
Tickets for the show on September 14 at 7pm are £22 (£21 concessions). To book call the box office on 01255 686633.
