A NURSERY school in Holland-on-Sea is celebrating after being labelled as outstanding by inspectors.
The Chase Nursery, in The Chase, was handed a Grade 1 rating by education watchdog Ofsted following an inspection earlier this year.
It got the top rating for its early years provision, for its contribution to the well-being of the children and the effectiveness of its leadership.
New owner Kerry Boughey said: "We are thrilled to be recognised as outstanding.
“But the children's happiness and exceeding their development milestones is our true statement of being outstanding.
“I would like to thank all the children and parents for being truly special and we will continue to give children a solid foundation for the start of their education.”
