THE search is on for talented youngsters to appear on stage at this year’s Princes Theatre pantomime.
Polka Dot Pantomime are staging their fourth production at the theatre this Christmas and are looking for performers aged between 8 and 18 to be part of this year’s spectacle.
Boys and girls who can sing and dance are invited to audition to star alongside a professional and celebrity cast in Jack and the Beanstalk.
Tryouts will be held on July 5 at the theatre between 1pm and 3pm and those chosen will appear in the run from December 13 to January 3 as part of a trio of children’s chorus divided between the shows.
Theatre general manager Melissa Leek said the production will have a tough task to follow on from last year’s record breaking performance of Peter Pan starring Jeff Brazier.
Audition forms are available from the box office in the Clacton Tourist Information Centre at Clacton Town Hall or by calling 01255 686633.
