CHARITY collections have raised almost £260.

The Catherine Bullen Foundation held collections at Co-op shops in West Mersea and Clacton, raising £259.91.

The money will be used to fund a construction project at a primary school accommodation block in eastern Namibia, which includes a kitchen.
