Man jailed for hiding wife's body

Clacton and Frinton Gazette: Man jailed for hiding wife's body Man jailed for hiding wife's body

A MAN has been jailed for a year for hiding his dead wife’s body.

David Parker, 50, panicked when he found Jacky, 52, had died in his caravan in Clacton.

He cleaned her body, wrapped her in a blanket and put her under a bed.

Police, who had been tipped off by Parker’s brother, arrived later and Parker told them Jacky had gone on a cruise.

When officers returned Parker, who was subject to a restraining order banning contact with Jacky, admitted he had gone into shock and hidden the body.

See Monday's Gazette for more.

ClactonObserver.. She died of sudden death syndrome! He must of returned home, grief strickenl panicked, and tried to hide her.. Presumably thinking irrationally, believing he'd be accused of murder. I believe he was sentenced for a year. This is a tragedy :(

He hardly seems like a stand up guy, considering the restraining order and the fact he hid his wife's body. Not only hid it, but washed it, hid it and then made up some loony story about a cruise!!
I stand by my original comment, what a weirdo!
It's tragic for her, not him! The freak! Talk about wasting police time with the curies lie. Why not just dial 999 like any normal person would? Let's hope he stays in jail for a long time.
