A HOLLAND care home is holding a special open event to celebrate an anniversary milestone.
Little Holland Hall, in Frinton Road, will open its doors to the public for a fun day marking its 25th anniversary.
It has been organised to help residents celebrate the milestone with a day of entertainment, while encouraging the community to visit the home.
The free event will include a bouncy castle, line dancing, a tin-can alley and a burst-the-balloon contest with a messy twist – with each balloon filled with shaving foam.
There will also be tarot readings and a host of stalls boasting sweets, clothes and homemade cakes.
Visitors and residents can also enjoy live entertainment and a barbecue throughout the day.
It will take place at the home on Saturday May 10 from 2pm.
