MORE than 80 people visited an eco-house in Clacton to learn about how going green can save cash and help the planet.
Chris Southall and Rosie Dodds, of Burrs Road, opened their EcoDIY home to the public over the bank holiday as part of the Green Homes Project event.
Their 1930s bungalow includes solar panels and a rain-water harvesting system.
They also grow their own food and keep chickens and bees.
