A YOUTH football club could be given a lease for the Pavilion at the Frinton Park Playing Fields.
Frinton and Walton Youth Football Club wants to lease the building, which has fallen into a state of disrepair, from Tendring Council
The club would like to take lease the building to enable them to repair it. It would exclusivly take over the pavilion, but not the playing fields.
A report said: “It has fallen into some disrepair and forms a very poor quality facility.
“The club has requested a lease of the building to enable the Football Club to store equipment and to have a regular training and playing base in the town.
“The club has no base at present and is keen to make the Frinton Park playing fields site its permanent base.”
Tendring Council’s cabinet will look at the principle of leasing out the building at a meeting on Friday.
