YOUNGSTERS stepped up to the big stage to show off their singing, dancing and drama skills.
More than 40 youngsters took part in special workshops at Clacton’s Princes Theatre.
They worked with professional directors and choreographers throughout the day, before holding performances of Hairspray and The Wizard of Oz.
It was organised and run by the Princes Youth Theatre Workshops.
Director Melissa Wenn hailed the event a huge success.
She said: “This was not just about aspiring young performers but an opportunity for anyone looking for something creative and exciting to do in the holidays.
“It is a great chance for those taking part to improve their confidence, self-esteem, public speaking and communication skills, and they certainly made the most of it.”
