A NURSERY has spent thousands of pounds on a new minibus after more than a decade of fundraising.
Staff and children at Little Pals Nursery in Clacton finally raised enough to buy the bus.
It will be used to let staff pick up youngsters from the surrounding area and make the centre more accessible, as well giving them the opportunity to run special field trips.
Little Pals manager Gill Smith said: “We have been fundraising for this as long as I’ve been here, which is since 2000.
“Parents, staff and the local community have all been helping and pitching in for many years.
“It will really extend what we’re able to do and be a big boost for the children."
Staff coincided the unveiling of the minibus with a special Easter event for the youngsters.
