YOUNGSTERS at a nursery school in Holland-on-Sea were delighted to watch as ten chicks hatched as part of the build up to their Easter celebration.
Children, parents and staff watched as the baby chicks emerged from their eggs at The Chase Nursery.
They were able to watch the process from egg to chick and owner Kerry Boughey said they all had an “amazing experience”.
We were delighted that all 10 hatched, as we were advised we should expect only 8 out of the 10 to hatch"
“The response has been fantastic from the children, parents and staff.
We also have a Easter bonnet competition and already have over 60 bonnets.
“It's like a little Easter haven with the children having lots of fun and learning new skills.”
