TWO men have put their shame aside and spent a week donning dresses in a fundraising bid for charity.
Over the last week anyone walking into Chaos Gaming Zone, in Old Road, Clacton, could be forgiven for doing a double take.
Joint owners Ricky Moore and Alex Weller started wearing dresses to work on Monday as part of a fundraising bid for Cancer Research UK.
The brave pair decided to dress in drag after seeing the success of the ‘no make-up selfie’ craze.
Ricky said: “It has been a lot of fun so far. The reaction of some of the customers coming in has been amazing.
“Some people are startled but it doesn’t bother me too much, I’ll do anything if it raises some money for a good cause.”
The pair started on April 7 and will continue wearing dresses until April 14.
They are hoping to top the £500 mark.
People can donate to the cause by visiting Chaos Gaming Zone, online at www.justgiving.com/ricky-alex-indrag, or by texting DRAG86 and an amount (eg £1) to 70070.
