THE family of murdered teenager Jay Whiston emerged from court claiming justice had been done.
Mum Caroline Shearer and family members held their arms aloft, crying: "Justice for Jay."
Jay's dad Stafford Whiston, wife Debbie, and the murdered teenager's sister Holly Fairburn said they had sat through 13 weeks "of hell" during the trial.
Caroline said: "It has been a long haul but this is amazing and we are elated.
"Four people convicted and the jury saw through their lies and excuses."
Dad Stafford added: "Jay is still dead but at least we have got justice."
