A WEELEY firefighter has launched a web page to boost his fundraising efforts as he runs the London marathon for charity.
Brendan Gibbs of The Street, Little Clacton, applied to take part in the marathon for the fifth year running and was finally given a place in this year’s event.
He is hoping to raise £2,000 for the NSPCC children’s charity.
People can now sponsor Brendan’s marathon effort online at justgiving.com/Brendan-Gibbs.
