RESIDENTS in Tendring are being urged to make their voice heard when a countywide survey hits the doormat later this month.

Essex County Council is sending the questionnaire - which covers a wide range of issues - to about 12,000 households.

It will include questions on waste and recycling, volunteering, health, and general satisfaction of the services provided by councils in Essex.

It is hoped that at least 400 responses will be received from each district.

Mick Page, leader of Tendring Council, said it is an opportunity for people to have their say.

“I hope residents in Tendring take the time to complete the survey as it is important that councils find out what people think,” he said.

“It really does help shape decisions and is a chance to let the authorities know your views on various subjects – most of which affect our everyday lives.”
