BUDDING entertainers are being invited to showcase their talents in a bid to make town centres in Tendring more vibrant.
Tourism bosses want to recruit an army of street entertainers to inject extra life into town centres around Tendring.
The move comes following a pilot project in Clacton where the town square and two areas on the seafront have been used by various performers and buskers over the past few years.
Performers get to keep any donations they receive and can sell their own CDs to passers-by.
Mark Platt, Tendring Council’s cabinet member for tourism, said the aim was to bring some added vibrancy to town centres and seafront areas.
