A PENSIONER had a bank card snatched from her purse after shopping in Clacton.

The 84 year old victim from Frinton was loading bags of shopping into her car outside the Tesco store in Brook Retail Park when the theft is thought to have occurred.

As she did so she was approached by a woman who struck up a conversation with her, before a man came over to join in.

When the victim got home she realised her bank card was missing.

It happened at about 1pm on Monday March 24.

Police want to speak to the pair who spoke to the victim in connection with the card theft.

The woman is described as tall with long dark hair and spoke with a foreign accent. She was wearing a three quarter length animal print coat.

The man had brown hair and was described as quite tall, possibly with a small moustache. He was wearing a three quarter length brown jacket and also spoke with a foreign accent.
