AN amateur stage show had members of the audience roaring with laughter with their latest hit show.
The Thorpe Players staged two performances of Hansel and Gretel at Tendring Technology College to mark the 20th anniversary of the group.
The panto proved to be a big hit, with non-stop gags and physical comedy keeping the captivated audience entertained.
Thorpe Players chairman Jane Dunne said: “The audience said the show was hilarious and the best yet and we are delighted with how it went.
“We want to say thank you to the people of Thorpe who regularly support our shows.”
The group is already planning its next pantomime for February 2015 and its next event will be a summer variety show at Thorpe’s Women’s Institute Hall later this year.
