FRINTON Summer Theatre bosses have revealed the details of their 75th anniversary season.
The seasonal theatre organisation is the longest-running of its kind in the country.
Producers have gone all out to give audiences a spectacular selection of plays to celebrate the special anniversary year.
The season will start with a special play written specifically for the occasion by local playwright Patrick Marlowe called Within the Gates, which will run from July 15-19.
Other high profile shows will include The Importance of Being Earnest, which will run from August 5-9.
The Oscar Wilde classic will star former ‘Allo ‘Allo TV star Vicki Michelle.
The Frinton season will end with an original offering by Jon Canter named The Dog, starring stage and TV legend Richard Wilson.

* Sleuth by Anthony Shaffer – July 22-26
* Relatively Speaking by Alan Ayckbourn – July 29- August 2
* The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde – August 5-9 (extra matinee August 7)
* Noel and Gertie by Sheridan Morley – August 12-16
* The Dog by Jon Canter – August 19-23 (extra matinee August 21)
